Why plants call us
You've been burned before.
If you've bought custom automation before, you've probably lived one of these three stories.
01
It never hit its speed.
Every Albit machine runs at your rated speed, with your parts, in our shop. You watch it happen before you pay the final invoice.
02
It showed up months late.
You get a dated build plan on day one and a short video from our shop floor every Friday. No surprises at the end.
03
Nobody can open the code.
No passwords. No locked controllers. The full code, drawings, and spare parts list are yours the day it ships.
How it works
Three steps. One machine that fits.
01
We walk your line.
Before we sketch anything, we stand on your floor, time every station, and talk to the people who run it. Sometimes the right answer is a smaller machine than you planned.
02
We build it and prove it.
Your machine is built in our shop and runs your real parts at your real rate. You watch it run, and you sign off only when the numbers are right.
03
We install it and hand it over.
We install around your shifts, train your operators and maintenance team, and leave you the code, drawings, and spares list. Then we keep answering the phone for as long as the machine runs.
Try the buyoff
Hold to run it at rate.
Before any machine leaves our shop, it has to do this with your parts. Press and hold to run the test.

About us
Built in Melbourne. Proven on your floor.
Albit Kinetics is a Melbourne automation company built on one rule: no machine leaves until it runs at the customer's rate.
We design, build, and prove every machine in Melbourne, then install it anywhere in the world. And when a smaller machine will do the job, we'll tell you before we quote the bigger one.

FAQ
Straight answers.
Still have a question? Ask it in your line review.
What does a custom machine cost?
Custom machines typically land between A$220,000 and A$2.2 million, depending on the job. After the free line review you get a fixed price in writing, and it does not move unless you change the scope.
What if it doesn't hit the rate?
Then it doesn't ship. The buyoff in our shop is written into the contract, with your parts and your target. If it falls short, fixing it is on us.
Do we really own the code?
Yes. No passwords, no locked controllers, no license fees. You get the full program, the electrical drawings, and the spare parts list at final payment.
How long does it take?
Most machines take 12 to 20 weeks from signed design to your floor. You get the dated plan on day one and a shop video every Friday.
Will the install shut down our plant?
We plan the install around your shifts and slow weeks. Most installs need a weekend to a week of downtime, and we tell you which before you sign.
Can you fix a machine someone else built?
Yes. We document what's there, recover what we can, and get it running again, with the code and drawings handed to you this time.
Do you work outside Australia?
Yes. Every machine is built and proven in Melbourne, then installed anywhere in the world. Travel and shipping are quoted up front.
What happens after it's installed?
We train your operators and maintenance team on site, then stay on call. Same engineers, same phone number, for as long as the machine runs.
